Shibley’s at the Pier is much more than just a restaurant. It is a place where people from all walks of life have been coming together for more than a century. The restaurant sits at the heart of the action that occurs in and around Alton Bay. Events, to name a few, range from the July 4 th Fireworks to the Winter Carnival, the Alton Summer Concert Series, fishing derbies and the February Fly-In. Needless to say even without an event Shibley’s at the Pier overlooks the beautiful and pristine Lake Winnipesaukee.
 
This year the Shibley family is celebrating the 32nd year as owners, and the building saw some major renovations. If you haven’t seen the restaurant since last summer you will quickly notice the new siding on the outside and the larger bar, central air conditioning, and a new fireplace in the dining room. Shibley’s is excited to begin another year with our great kitchen staff, including our always creative chefs from Johnson and Wales University and Southern New Hampshire University. We also have a registered Dietician on staff to assist with all of our customers dietary needs.
